What is the Veterans Executive Council?

The Veterans Executive Council of the Rochester Region is a united body of veteran leaders and service organization representatives working together to support and advocate for local veterans and their families. Rooted in the spirit of service and collaboration, the Council brings together voices from across Monroe County and surrounding communities to ensure veterans’ needs are prioritized in policy, access to care, transportation, and community resources. In addition to their advocacy efforts, the Council also serves as the administrator of the Veterans Memorial Committee, which oversees the care and preservation of the Veterans Memorial located at the Blue Cross Arena—a lasting tribute to those who have served and sacrificed.
